Stress management and resilience for health personnel
Stress in the workplace can lead to reduced performance and dissatisfaction and even cause psychological illnesses such as anxiety disorders and depression. The effects on health and the economy are enormous. Stress is the second most common cause of work-related health problems.
Resilience is the ability to act successfully even in adverse circumstances, to remain calm and to overcome crises. Resilience does not mean being completely free of stress or negative feelings. The way to more resilience lies rather in overcoming negative emotions and developing effective coping strategies. The ability of resistance (resilience) can be trained. Especially doctors and nursing staff at hospitals often reach their limits and professional support can promote employee satisfaction and health.
We offer seminars in which you learn to analyze your personal stress behaviour and to find out which resilience level you already have and what can be further developed. We reflect on personal goals, energy drainers and energy donors and learn techniques to quickly get out of acute stress. We also learn how to prevent stress in the long term. We practice dealing with emotions effectively in difficult situations in order to be more relaxed. Optimal cooperation and communication in teams are also improved.
Benefits: The seminar helps the participants to strengthen their personal resilience in order to remain healthy and productive in the long term. In the seminar, everyone works out their individual resilience action plan. The seminar offers enough time for self-reflection and practice-proven exercises and case studies.
The seminar consists of the following three modules:
- Module 1: Increasing resilience through mindful self-control (Topics: 7 pillars of resilience-building energy - managing emotions - mental positive focus)
- Module 2: Healthy communication with the DisG System - understanding yourself and others better
- Module 3: Improving teamwork - communication in conflicts (topics: inner drivers - non-violent communication, etc.)
Reference: The resilience concept developed by Flow Promotion together with the University Emergency Center Freiburg and the implementation of a new visit-standard to relieve the doctors and improve patient satisfaction was awarded the renowned German Medical Award 2019.
We offer an innovative, modern, and profitable introduction to the topics of stress behaviour and resilience for health care personnel. We support you in the analysis, supervision, and implementation of health-promoting and stress-reducing measures.
